From Complex Medical Diagnosis to “Feeling Alive Again’

One of the most powerful things about being a Nurse Coach is being able to help clients navigate through complex and challenging medical journeys.

These difficult and often traumatic experiences hinder and prevent people from going on with their lives, causing even more damage in an already difficult situation. This is something that today’s guest, Board Certified Health and Wellness Nurse Coach Lauren Jefferson, knows all too well from her personal life.

Lauren was already working as a Nurse when her late father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Although she was a medical professional, she didn’t know how to help her father express his feelings, help her family cope with the diagnosis, or handle all of this in a healthier way herself.

But in her heart, she felt there had to be a better way. And in the midst of it all, she stumbled upon The Nurse Coach Collective! She quickly decided to become a Nurse Coach and to help people going through challenging medical journeys like cancer, traumatic injury or end-of-life care.

In our interview with Lauren, we’ll tell you all about it.
