Gratitude: The Gateway to a Better Practice
Practicing gratitude on a daily basis is extremely important.
And did you know we can even be grateful for things before they happen?
In fact, by being grateful for things in the future, we can cultivate and nourish the possibility of that reality happening.
And most importantly, as Nurse Coaches, we can combine the power of gratitude with a compelling vision of the future to create a powerful motivation for change.
Now, if you’re wondering why we’re discussing gratitude today…
Well, the two of us just recently had our first baby. So, we took a few of weeks off to welcome a new life into the world and step into our new roles.
It’s been such an incredible experience, so when we attempted to shift gears and return to this space, we immediately knew we wanted to talk about gratitude.
Honestly, it would’ve been impossible to sit and talk about anything else today! 😄
So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the world of gratitude.
- What is it?
- Why is it so important?
- And how can we, as Nurse Coaches, utilize it to cultivate positive change within ourselves and our patients?
P.S. We also share 3 easy ways to practice gratitude at the end of the episode, so make sure to stick around!
