The Year of the Nurse – Are You Ready?!
My fellow nurses,
While our profession has always been a bridge between our patients’ present state and who they can become, in Nurse Coaching, we take that to the next level.
We coach our patients to take their power back – to strive for wellness each and every day.
Because no matter their age or diagnosis, we support our clients to enter into their optimal state of healing.
And in no time has this been more vital than right now.
Here are Some INSANE Statistics…
You see, 66% of Americans are either overweight or obese, including 30% of kids under 18.
130 million Americans are suffering from one or more chronic diseases, many of which are completely preventable.
And 75% of Americans experience loneliness (perceived or actual) which has been found to be a massive contributing factor to stress and many other mental health issues.
But with all that being said, things are looking up.
In fact, the Nurse Coach in me extends to you this invitation:
I invite you to look to the future with bright eyes, hope, and relentless optimism.
Because these problems are solvable.
Our population is ready for change.
Global healing is achievable.
Enter the Year of the Nurse.
So, this decade winds down and we gear up for the roaring 2020s, we’re going to start it off with a bang, because…
The World Health Organization has designated 2020 as “The Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.”
And in case you haven’t heard yet, it will be a year that recognizes all that we do for our communities and the populations we serve.
A year for us take our rightful place at the forefront of the health and wellness revolution.
From local to global, we have the trust of the public, limitless knowledge and creativity, and the numbers to incite change on a massive scale.
And for us at The Nurse Coach Collective, we couldn’t be more excited.
2019 has been a year of massive growth, expanding our capacity to serve. In fact, we’ve had the honor of working with more than 250 nurses to help them elevate their lives and professional practice.
Become a Part of the Revolution.
While we have some wild things in store for the Year of The Nurse, we hope you’ll be part of this transformative moment in our profession.
After all, this is your year.
This is the Year of the Nurse.
A year for you to stand in your power as a healer.
A year to stand tall against the tide of suffering that has crashed upon our population.
So, in true Nurse Coaching style, I’ll leave you with a query:
In the Year of the Nurse, how do you most want to positively impact your life, career, and community?
If the sky is the limit – what do you most want to create?
